All of our Microbiological Dipslides are manufactured in the UK to an extremely high standard making sure the agar stays attached during tests and accurate results are provided. All of our microbiological diagnostic tests (excluding SRB) have a large, flexible plastic paddle and are located in a strong shatterproof, transparent tube.
These well water / bore hole dipslides are a coliforms and general bacteria test to aid the tester in detecting indicator organisms in private water supplies.
The PC2T dipslide (plate count TTC) supports the growth of total count bacteria on both sides. Includes TTC (red spot dye) which means that colonies appear as red dots and are easier to count.
The SCT dipslide measures total count bacteria on one side and coliforms count on the other side. Red spot dye (TTC) has been added to the total bacteria side. Most bacteria colonies will grow as red spots making them easier to count.
PCTV dipslides include Plate Count agar with TTC (red spot dye) and VRBG agar. These test total count on one side and enterobacteriaceae on the other side.
