We can not provide refunds for the following:
- Dipslides : These are perishable items and as such we can not accept returns. This is due to the manufacturing protocols that are in place (the goods are quarantined in sterile conditions until shipment). As such, we would not be able to re-sell the dipslides should they be returned (as we could not guarantee they have not been breached). This does not affect faulty items which can be returned / replaced after contacting dip-slides.com to receive a RMA number.
- Non dipslide or non-perishable items : We can only provide refunds for Non dipslide or non-perishable items if they are returned to us within 14 days of receipt. This is because each item will have a warranty and that warranty starts 14 days after receipt of goods.
IMPORT / CUSTOMS CLEARANCE INFORMATION
It is the customer's responsibility to check for any import permit requirements before placing an order. In some cases, a "Prepared culture media" permit will be required by a country's customs agency. Failure to provide a permit may result in orders being returned or destroyed by customs. If your order is returned to us, you agree to cover any return shipping charges imposed by the couriers. Once your order has been returned, you will be contacted either via e-mail or a phone call and provided with a link to pay these return shipping charges. We will then also provide a link for you to re-order new shipping of your products to your location.
It is the customer's responsibility to check if any import fees will be applied to an order upon arrival in the country where the delivery address is located. This includes any fees due to BREXIT. Failure to pay these fees may result in your order being returned or destroyed by customs. If your order is returned to us, you agree to cover any return shipping charges imposed by the couriers. Once your order has been returned, you will be contacted either via e-mail or a phone call and provided with a link to pay these return shipping charges. We will then also provide a link for you to re-order new shipping of the products to your location.
We cannot offer refunds for any orders that have failed to complete customs clearance where the reason is due to either a permit not being provided by yourself or your refusal to pay any import fees.
Dip-slides.com are not responsible for any extra charges after the goods leave the UK.
REFUND / CANCELLATIONS
If you decide to cancel your order before it is dispatched, you will receive a refund minus credit / debit card fees. Once you place your order, Dip-slides.com is automatically charged a card processing fee and even if your order is refunded, Dip-slides.com still has to pay this fee. Therefore, in the circumstances described in this section, a refund would be issued minus any applicable payment processing fees.
All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of dip-slides.com or its content suppliers. Any website deemed to have stolen content from dip-slides.com will be reported to Google and the company that hosts the website with a request for a DMCA takedown. Further action (legal action) may be taken if the perpetrator is uncooperative.
LICENSE AND SITE ACCESS
Dip-slides.com grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of this site and not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it, except with express written consent of dip-slides.com. This license does not include any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools. This site or any portion of this site may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without express written consent of dip-slides.com. You may not use any meta tags or any other "hidden text" utilising dip-slides.com's name or trademarks without the express written consent of dip-slides.com. Any unauthorized use terminates the permission or license granted by dip-slides.com. You are granted a limited, revocable, and nonexclusive right to create a hyperlink to the home page of dip-slides.com so long as the link does not portray dip-slides.com, its associates, or their products or services in a false, misleading, derogatory, or otherwise offensive matter. YOUR REGISTERED ACCOUNT
If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Dip-slides.com reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts or cancel orders in their sole discretion.
RISK OF LOSS OR DAMAGE
All items purchased from dip-slides.com are made pursuant to a shipment contract. If an item is lost or damaged during transit, dip-slides.com will arrange a solution at their discretion. This may be in the form of a refund, partial refund, redelivery or partial redelivery. Dip-slides.com bears no responsibility for items lost or damaged once the delivery has reached and been accepted by the recipient.
All deliveries must be checked upon acceptance of goods from the courier and any damages reported to dip-slides.com within 72 hours. We are unable to process claims for faulty dipslides after 72 hours of receipt of goods. This is because dipslides are a temperature controlled product and customers storing dipslides outside the optimum range (e.g. in a warm warehouse) can result in damage to the dipslides which dip-slides.com has no control over.
Upon confirmation of an order dispatch, you will receive an email from Dip-slides.com. If you have not received your order within 7 working days of receipt of this email, please contact us. Failure to contact Dip-slides.com within 14 days of the dispatch email to inform Dip-slides.com that the order has not arrived, may result in a package being unable to be reimbursed / re-dispatched.
If an item is received that has a manufacturing fault, dip-slides.com will arrange to have the item collected and a new item sent out. Alternatively, in some cases it may be more appropriate for the customer to send back the item and dip-slides.com will arrange a refund for shipping.
Dip-slides.com and its associates attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, dip-slides.com does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by dip-slides.com itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition. If the item is returned promptly (some dip-slides.com products have a shelf life) and it is proven that the item received was not as described, dip-slides.com will issue a product refund and a shipping refund (unless dip-slides.com has arranged collection at their own expense).

Dip-slides.com makes every effort to ensure a secure platform. However, Dip-slides.com will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages. Certain localised laws do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. If these laws apply to you, some or all of the above disclaimers, exclusions, or limitations may not apply to you, and you might have additional rights.
It is the customer's responsibility to check that the delivery address is correct before completing the checkout. Dip-slides.com is not responsible for any shipping delays or extra costs incurred due to an incorrect shipping address being provided. If an incorrect delivery address has been provided and the order has already been dispatched, we are unable to provide refunds or replacement products (a new order would be required at the customer's expense).
Items shipped to UK customers will be delivered by FedEx, APC, UPS or Royal mail 48hr tracked. International orders will be shipped by FedEx, UPS or DHL (depending on location). All shipping is tracked. Dip-slides.com reserves the right to ship by another method / courier if required. Palletised shipping can be arranged on request.
In some cases, the couriers will charge dip-slides.com a remote area fee if the address provided by the customer is in a remote / hard to reach area. Dip-slides.com will only become aware of this charge after the courier has been contacted to fulfil the order. In these rare cases, dip-slides.com will contact the customer. The customer will be offered three options:
To provide dip-slides.com with an alternative shipping address
To receive a full refund and cancellation of the order
To pay the remote area charge before shipment
