How does the subscription work?
When setting up your subscription, you choose the type and amount of dipslides you require. You will also choose the frequency of your subscription plan – monthly, bi-monthly or every 3 months. You will receive a discount on the price of the dipslides compared to purchasing as normal. You also have no need to keep logging in to the website to place an order every time you wish to purchase. The subscription offers the convenience of automatic payments and deliveries without any extra input from yourselves.
You will receive your first order straight away and then your subsequent orders will arrive approximately around the same time every month, 2 months or 3 months (there will be no weekend or bank holiday deliveries).
How long is the subscription for?
The subscription will renew at each billing cycle selected by yourself (1 2 or 3 months) until you cancel via your control panel. Cancelling a subscription is quick and easy and can be done with 2 clicks. There is no fixed term contract so you could technically cancel at any time after your 1st delivery.
What date do I get billed for my subscription?
You will get billed on / around the same date every month, 2 months or 3 months. The first payment will be taken straight away. Subscriptions fees will be billed at the agreed cost and frequency until cancelled.
When will my subscription order arrive?
This depends on the frequency of your subscription. Your first order will arrive soon after you have started your subscription (unless we contact you regarding stock issues). Subsequent orders should arrive around the same time every month, 2 months or 3 months, depending on which subscription frequency you chose when setting up your subscription.
You’ll receive an email to let you know once your order has been dispatched. Your order should arrive with you 1-2 working days after you receive the dispatch email.
Will my order always be in stock?
Our subscription service is for our most popular dipslide products. Due to this, it is very unlikely that there will be stock issues. However, we cannot guarantee that this may not happen at some point during your subscription. If, for any reason, your dipslides are not in stock when you have been billed for your next delivery, we will notify you of the delay and an ETA. We will endeavour to come up with a suitable solution that will be acceptable to all parties if the ETA is longer than expected.
Do dip-slides.com store my credit / debit card details?
No, our secure payment processor Stripe processes and stores your details. We have no access to these.
Does the subscription fee include delivery?
A delivery cost of £6.74 excluding VAT will be added to your subscription charge every time you are charged your subscription fee.
Can I pause my subscription?
No. However, you can cancel your subscription at any time. You can also set it to cancel at the end of the next billing cycle automatically.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription via your customer account under the subscriptions section (click the blue "Cancel" button under "My Subscriptions" next to your subscription). However, we suggest cancelling at least 1 day before your renewal date. This is to give our system time to update and in turn not generate a new order. Please note, once an order has been generated and shipped, we are unable to cancel/refund that order. You can also use the "Auto cancel at period end" button in your control panel to auto cancel your order after the next delivery.
Is there a deadline to cancel my subscription?
Please note that once you have been billed for the current month, 2 month or 3 month subscription period, we are unable to process a refund and your cancellation will be automatically actioned for the following subscription period. If you wish to cancel your subscription, please do so at least 1 day before the next renewal date to give our system time to update.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will have until 1 day before your next billing date to cancel your subscription. You can check when your next billing date is via your subscriptions section in your account.
After cancellation, can I reactivate my subscription?
No, you would need to create a new subscription.
How do you store / process my data?
In order to process and deliver your subscription, your data will be required for us to provide you with the subscription service. For further information on this, please view our privacy policy.
Can I change my subscription payment details in the future?
Payment is taken by via the payment processor Stripe. Transactions are processed through their secure payment portal. All payments /payment details are processed through Stripe and we do not retain or have access to your payment card – only Stripe has this information. Due to this, if you wish to change the payment details, you would need to cancel your subscription and re-sign up with your new payment method.
My address has changed. How do I change my address details for the subscription?
For security reasons, to update your address, you will need to cancel your subscription then re-order a new one.
Is this a worldwide service?
For the moment, the subscription service is just for UK customers. We are looking to implement this for international customers in the future.
