About Our ttc nutrient + ttc nutrient (neutralisers) dipslides (box of 10)

Nutrient Agar with TTC and neutralisers. Most Colonies will appear as red spots. This slide offers a total count on both sides.

Ideal for general use in a wide variety of applications and industries. Due to the addition of neutralisers, this slide is ideal for assessing the efficacy of cleaning regimes.

Neutralisers are added to agars to ‘neutralise’ the effect of disinfectants / germicides. The neutraliser aids in the recovery of surviving / viable organisms that have been damaged but not killed by cleaning chemicals. This is useful if you wish to test the efficacy of cleaning agents. The neutraliser will help you get a more accurate result without the efficacy of your cleaning regime being overestimated.

It comes in a pack size of 10 slides per box. The slide has a flexible paddle and is located in a shatterproof container.

Flexible paddle

Flexible Paddle

Each dipslide features a virtually unbreakable and flexible paddle allowing for even, full surface testing.

Easy run off design

Easy Run Off Design

Due to the design of the dipslide, fluids will drain off quickly during testing.

Recessed Handle

Recessed Handle

Each slide has a handle built into the lid that is recessed to help keep your fingers dry during testing.

Side Indicator

Side Indicator

One side of the slide will have a circle indicator so you know which side was used for testing which type of contaminant.

Dual sided paddle

Dual Sided

Each dipslide is dual sided to allow multiple contamination testing with one test.

Thick reliable Agar

Thick Reliable Agar

Each agar is thick (approx 4mm) and raised above the dipslide to allow for easy surface testing.

This agar contains red spot dye which helps the user view and count colonies as they appear as red spots. Nutrient agar will detect / show growth for a wide range of non fastidious organisms. Due to nutrient agar being able to cultivate such a wide variety of micro organisms, it is used in many industries.

How to use the BT2N dipslide

Simply remove the dipslide and immerse in (or press against) the sample for approx 10 seconds. Remove dipslide and allow to drain (if necessary) for a few seconds, then replace the slide back into the tube and incubate for a minimum of 24 hours (up to a maximum of 48 hours).

A comparison chart is included so you can easily compare your results.

For liquid testing, immerse the Nutrient TTC + neutraliser dipslide into the fluid for 10 seconds then remove and allow to drain for a few seconds.

Swab Testing
