The TPC dipslide contains neutralisers for disinfectants present in the sample, this provides accurate readings in such tests. This dip slide measures a total count on both sides. The agar (culture medium) on this dipslide is Plate Count with neutralisers.
Plate Count Agar - This agar is a general growth medium that offers a total count of viable organisms in a sample. Used to test food and water. Mainly used in the dairy industry. The black dipslide makes the straw coloured agar easy to view and some people prefer this dipslide as they find it more convenient for counting colonies.
TPC dipslides come in a pack size of 10 slides per box. The slide has a flexible paddle and is within a shatterproof container.
