About Our Environmental Monitoring Dipslides with Neutralisers (Box of 10)
The TSA/ME dipslide features two different agars (culture medium). These slides have Tryptone Soya Agar on one side of the dipslide. This agar measures a total count and grows a wide variety of micro-organisms. The other side has Malt Extract Agar. This agar measures / grows a yeast and mould count. TSA/ME is a general purpose dipslide that is ideal for environmental testing. Includes lecithin and tween neutralisers.
If your sample contains microbiological contaminants, colonies will grow on the dipslide agars. You then count the colonies and compare with the included chart to assess the level of infection.

Dipslides are a convenient way of carrying out environmental testing. There is no need to prepare the culture media before testing and the paddle design makes it much easier to test surfaces than alternatives such as contact plates. Dipslides also have a longer shelf life than alternative products. Being able to test with two agars at once is also an advantage.
These dipslides come in a box of 10 slides. Each dipslide is housed within a shatterproof plastic tube.
TSA/ME Dipslide Features
Flexible Paddle
Each dipslide features a virtually unbreakable and flexible paddle allowing for even, full surface testing.
Easy Run Off Design
Due to the design of the dipslide, fluids will drain off quickly during testing.
Recessed Handle
Each slide has a handle built into the lid that is recessed to help keep your fingers dry during testing.
Side Indicator
One side of the slide will have a circle indicator so you know which side was used for testing which type of contaminant.
Dual Sided
Each dipslide is dual sided to allow multiple contamination testing with one test.
Thick Reliable Agar
Each agar is thick (approx 4mm) and raised above the dipslide to allow for easy surface testing.
